There is no cost for HopeNet’s assessments. We provide, at no charge, comprehensive assessments, case coordination with other professionals and a written report detailing our specific recommendations.
For longer-term services in HopeNet’s counseling program we operate on a sliding fee scale. Case coordination, reporting and attendance at professional team meetings to discuss a family’s situation are provided at no charge. Regardless of where a family falls on our fee schedule, no one is turned away for inability to pay for services.
Traditional counseling occurs weekly for one hour in a counselor’s office. At the end of the first or second appointment the counselor will make a diagnosis for the individual’s insurance company. Counseling is typically focused on a central issue or diagnosis and is often time-limited, as most insurance companies will pay for only a specified number of appointments. HopeNet, in comparison, understands that the journey toward healing requires time. We intentionally do not file insurance. No one is turned away for inability to pay for services.
While HopeNet is not affiliated with any local, regional or national organizations, we partner with more than 300 community agencies, ministries and individuals to create a solid support system for those we serve. We offer four Family Service programs and walk personally with those in our care toward healing, restoration and wholeness.
We do not focus solely on external circumstances or symptoms surrounding a crisis. Instead, we look inward to the underlying causes of brokenness and work to restore personal dignity and hope. Our highest priority as an organization is to keep hope alive.
Through community referrals, assessments and counseling services, HopeNet serves more than 1,000 people each year.
