Bryce Matteson

Immediate Past President of the HopeNet Board of Directors

 

HopeNet Immediate Past President Bryce Matteson, a native of Billings, Okla., earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. As a radio and television reporter, Bryce covered everything from school board meetings to Presidential campaigns over his 20-year career in broadcasting. He won national honors documenting his journey in becoming a private pilot while at Wichita’s CBS affiliate KWCH-TV 12.

 

Aviation reporting led to business reporting and eventually a new career in the financial advisement industry 10 years ago. Bryce continues to appear on KWCH-TV with weekly investment education segments and also teaches a quarterly investment class for women at the Sedgwick County Extension Office.

 

Bryce and his wife Debbie are the parents of five daughters and three grandchildren. His family resides in Haven, Kan., and attends Cheney Baptist Church. Bryce loves the Lord and serving at HopeNet.
