Dr. Timothy Shaver

Secretary/Treasurer of the HopeNet Board of Directors

Dr. Timothy Shaver has been a HopeNet board member since 2006. Impacted by the comprehensive and compassionate approach HopeNet employs, and appreciating this organization’s Christ-centered values, Dr. Shaver felt led to be involved in furthering the vision of this ministry. As a practicing physician with Arthritis & Rheumatology Clinics of Kansas, he has witnessed the affects of brokenness in the lives of patients and their families. 

Dr. Shaver is married to Kay, his wife of 21 years, and they have two children: Dawson, 20, and Drea, 15. He and his family attend Eastminster Presbyterian Church, where he teaches Sunday school and participates in the worship band. Apart from his medical specialty of rheumatology, Dr. Shaver enjoys playing the guitar and has been known to provide music at HopeNet functions.
