Melissa Thompson-Beck joined HopeNet’s clinical team in 2003. As clinical director, she serves with compassion and a deep understanding of the struggles faced by those broken by life’s burdens. Melissa has extensive training in the areas of addiction, trauma resolution, family conflict and life-cycle transitions. She has a passion for creating an environment where people can realize their God-given potential. She believes that regardless of the degree of pain and hurt, there is always hope for deep and lasting change.

Melissa and Larry, her husband of 20 years, have three children. They have made East Evangelical Free Church their church home for 16 years. A strong commitment to her family results in the typical busyness of shuffling children to activities, but Melissa says she keeps in sight how quickly they grow up and makes it a priority to enjoy the journey.
