Who We Are

HopeNet is a faith based nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization.

The HopeNet team believes we are called to live our Christian faith by becoming the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. God’s word tells us to set the wounded free. The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free. (Luke 4:18 NIV). Often God is at work in the most unexpected places; HopeNet sees crisis as a window of opportunity. God desires to reveal His kingdom and his love among the lowly and many of us don't stop to listen until a crisis has arrived. The team at HopeNet seeks to rely on the strength and wisdom of God to bring Him glory in every call and opportunity.

HopeNet links the Community to respond as the body of Christ in the community of Wichita to come along side and help. Knowing connections, talents and resources often is what links a person in need with a source of help. To know what other services, churches and individuals are doing and have access to, is key. No single agency, church or individual can meet every need, nor are we designed to. At HopeNet, it is our intent to be a Connection Point, and walk alongside those living in crisis when appropriate.
