Assistant Program Director of Coaching and Training Services
Kate Young joins the HopeNet team, excited to expand the Coaching arm of HopeNet and to grow the reach of this ministry to the community.
Kate is a nationally experienced leadership trainer, facilitator and Professional Coach who has worked for Gannon Consult, a national leader in public sector transit leadership consulting, based out of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Moving from the public sector to non-profit, private sector with HopeNet allows her to focus on transformation in her hometown of Wichita, Kansas. It is her great pleasure to walk alongside individuals in their own personal and professional transformations.
Kate’s own spiritual journey has taught her that nothing is wasted in our stories. The Lord rejoices in redeeming even the very broken aspects of our lives. It is this lens that she brings to her work at HopeNet. She looks forward to bringing her skills to HopeNet in her new role as Assistant Director of Coaching and Training.
Kate and her husband Damon have lived in the Wichita area for 20 years raising their kids. She is a 5th generation Kansan.
Kate is the owner of MayDay Group LLLC., a consultancy and leadership training business. She is an ICF trained Coach pursing her hours towards ACC certification and Certified Level 2 Leadership Coach from The Kansas Leadership Center. Also, she is certified in The Emotional Intelligence Assessment (EQ-I) and the DiSC working style Assessment.
Along with her professional background, Kate was in instrumental in launching the non-profit, The Meeting House, a coffee shop in Sedgwick, Kansas in 2016.
