Engagement Services Coordinator
Victoria graduated Suma Cum Laude from Olivet Nazarene University with a double major in Psychology and Social Work. She has experience working with hospital patients and their families, seniors living with dementia, elementary schools in the poverty stricken metropolitan area of Chicago, and the homeless in both Wichita and Denver.
Victoria was drawn to HopeNet because of the healing that is possibly when Jesus Christ is the source of that healing. She loves the concept of practicing Social Work in an agency where faith is not only tolerated but encouraged! Favorite parts of her job include: smiling at clients as they enter the building, coaching clients to help build their personal resources, co-facilitating the Getting Ahead program, caring for and naming the lobby plants to match their personality.
Victoria has lived in Wichita her whole life, with the exception of her college years, and loves living close to her immediate and extended family. She married her best friend, Bryce McClure, in August of 2017 and would not be who she is today without his love and encouragement. In her personal time, she loves to spend time at her church investing in the Children and Youth ministries, traveling to new places, eating snow cones, growing succulents, and spending time with people she loves.
Victoria feels extremely thankful and blessed to be a part of the HopeNet team.
