Wichita, Kan. (October 28, 2020) — The HopeNet board of directors announced Christiane Doom has been appointed as the new Executive Director, effective January 9, 2021.
Christiane Doom has served as part of HopeNet’s leadership team as Development Director since August 2019. She will take over the position from Dalene Johnson, who is serving as Interim Executive Director. Dalene will resume her role as Administrative Director at HopeNet in January.
Christiane has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and management. She demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to build trust and partnerships relationally.
“We are thankful for Christiane’s commitment to HopeNet’s mission and her expertise in business management and operations,” says Dalene Johnson. “We know HopeNet will continue to flourish under her leadership.”
Reflecting on her appointment, Christiane said: “I have loved my time at HopeNet and I believe strongly in its mission. I see lives being transformed here and I am grateful to be part of that. More people need to know and experience what HopeNet has to offer.”
Christiane is a lifelong Wichita resident. She and her husband, Erin, have four children and are involved in their church, St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, as well as their children’s schools, University of Tulsa, Trinity Academy and Christ the Savior Academy.
