Mental Health Therapist

Frances Waldren is a professional mental health therapist at HopeNet. Frances comes to HopeNet with a wealth of experience in areas such as substance abuse, case management, managing aggressive behaviors and trauma-informed care. She specializes in treating clients in an eclectic therapeutic model that helps her build rapport with clients and individualize their needs.

Frances’ cheerful and outgoing personality makes her clients feel immediately at ease. She works collaboratively with each client to help them meet their counseling goals. She is not afraid to think outside the box or take on difficult cases. She is a creative and determined problem solver ready to support her clients.

Before coming to HopeNet, Frances worked with those struggling with problem gambling, substance abuse, directing a residential program and working with suicide prevention.

Frances and her husband enjoy participating in the community through continued work with problem gambling and their church’s prayer group. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, and experimenting with various artistic mediums, including acrylics, painting, glass mosaics, woodworking, sewing, cross-stitching and crocheting. Her family also enjoys exploring new restaurants in Wichita.
