Olivia Tickles, Mental Health Therapy Intern

Olivia is a devoted student, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Emporia State University. Her passion for guiding and supporting others has been a driving force throughout her journey.

With a solid foundation in Psychology, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Mental Health. She is eager to apply her knowledge and experiences to the field of counseling.

She has had the privilege of serving as a mentor and advisor to teens and adults facing a variety of challenges. From issues such as self-control and self-analysis to navigating complex mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, anxiety, avoidant personality traits, ADHD, and marital problems, she has developed a deep understanding and empathy for the diverse struggles individuals may encounter.

She employs a holistic approach rooted in evidence-based methods. Her toolkit includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Mental Training (PMT), Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving, and Interpersonal Therapy. These techniques empower her clients to identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and foster positive changes in their lives.
